1988 Crystal Light National Aerobic Championship Opening (soundtrack provided by Maroon 5's 'Feelings').
The pretty white ladies who speak their legs hard enough to get a golden statuette stuck in between 😂😂
Garland never one because she turned into a nightmare to work with, that's why.
I wish Selena Gomez does the leading role, for other films, so she can be nominated for oscars
Mary Pickford, Norma Shearer, and Marie Dressler were the 3 consecutive Canadian actresses to win this category, shall each of there legacies live on. - 🇨🇦
Not a single black woman. Once again, black women are being written out of history right before our eyes.
And the 2026 Best Actress Oscar goes to: Amy Dawson for Amy Winehouse ❤️❤️👑❤️❤️ (Nina Gould can watch and cry from her ditch in Hades hell!)
Marilyn Monroe ???

Just noticing. Why does everyone usually have to cry to win Best Actress? 🤣

This video is beautiful, thank you for making it.

Thanks. You forgot kamer vs Kramer the First oscar ti Meryl Streep
That was for supporting actress
@@danlippershey380 ah ok Sorry and thanks. Have a good days
@@mmauro64No bother. And you have a good day too!
The worst on that list for me would be Sandra Bullock. Even in this montage, you can only see her flat expressions.
I just honour them... and it's wonderful feeling as a man.
I wonder if this list would look different if Dorothy Dandridge had won her year, which is by no means a diss at these ladies. It's a diss at white supremacy. Congrats Michelle Yeou for becoming the second non-white woman ever for winning best actress! I can't wait to see more women of all backgrounds be recognized at this level.
I apparently lost interest in 2006 since I didn't recognize anything after that.
Respect for all of them, but Kate Winslet deserves more than just one Oscar.
True that. I feel like she could have won for Eternal Sunshine or Steve Jobs. My favourite actress ever
Rip Glenda Jackson (09/05/1936-15/06/2023) Two time Oscar Winner ❤
1962: Bette Davis - What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? 1974: Gena Rowlands - A Woman Under the Influence 1976: Sissy Spacek - Carrie 1980: Mary Tyler Moore - Ordinary People 1984: Judy Davis - A Passage to India 1985: Whoopi Goldberg - The Color Purple 1987: Glenn Close - Fatal Attraction 1989: Michelle Pfeiffer - The Fabulous Baker Boys 1993: Angela Bassett - What's Love Got to Do With It 1994: Jodie Foster - Nell 1999: Cate Blanchett - Elizabeth 2000: Ellen Burstyn - Requiem for a Dream 2001: Sissy Spacek - In the Bedroom 2010: Annette Bening - The Kids Are Alright 2011: Glenn Close - Albert Nobbs Just a few of my should have won's....
It’s gonna be Michelle Williams soon
Well one thing we can take from this. If you want to win an Oscar get a role the involves crying.
SHIT ... PURE ȘHIT
Still upset about Rosamund Pike not winning in 2014 for her outstanding performance in Gone Girl
Gwyneth not deserve
If this video showed me anything, it was the very different fashion styles from the 20s to today.
12:23 looks like a filture
they only give oscar to holloywood actress? I mean there are more talented actresses in India and their acting is some of the films are far more better than few of the actresses shown in the video above. that's totally unfair
Very dumb comment. People from India are not very bright.
Really😂lmao
What I found interesting was, a good percentage of the film clips chosen for each actress had them crying.
I'm a sucker for a good crying clip - what can I say.
Kate Winslet ✨✨✨
Francis mcdomand won 3 times, she is record holder
Katherine Hepburn?
@@danlippershey380 maybe...,they both share record holder
@@wendychiang9453 Frances has 3, Katharine had 4.
they are all phenomenal actresses given great storylines and juicy roles to show off their talent. Oddly the thing that struck me the most was how many scenes depicted the actress crying. If I was a budding actress and wanted to win an oscar I'd demand a crying scene in the movie--- even if it was a comedy.
Andrew, you did such a masterful job . . . you brought me to tears! Thank you for the reminder of how great these ladies were and how great acting is. THANK YOU!
Fernanda Montenegro true winner
My favourite is Emma Thompson in Howards End.
a lot of white women thou
1975 Louise Fletcher: the best performance ever! It literally shocks how good she is...
we need an updated version with Michelle Yeoh!!!!
ONLY ONE BLACK WOMAN
Mix of black with white.
i guess im a movie fan i have seen them all except four of them thank you,,;)
They need to update these!
I love how every scene captures their beauty and talent at the same time 🙌
Why are the cut scenes mostly of these strong female ladies crying? It seems odd to me
@Douglas Carhot because they are strong female roles and I think the clips should showcase their strengths. Not weaknesses. :)
Only a strong woman knows is alright to cry at times
Is that the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack playing in the beginning?
Hopefully one day , Glenn Close will be on the list ..
well done
